Our next Human Meaning Exploration Group starts in Early Augustest and runs weekly in one-hour “deep-dive” sessions with a maximum of seven candidates (but preferably 6)
Choosing a text of your own (in the past some onbious choices have been Frankl, Egers, Becker, Streley and Parker Palmer) each approved group member not only has their own track of studying human meaning for their own life, but group sessions focus on major themes of relationship, vocation, mortality, strengths and weaknesses and many other related themes.
Open to people of all faiths (or no faith) we keep the groups small so that each person has time to take active participation as a part of the exploration team. An opportunity (as you see in the pages of this online journal for Human Meaning – S P O K E – – and will continue to see in new articles every two weeks this Summer from our last group) is not guaranteed but is a very real possibility for each member who I will work with personally, and who will get feedback from this confidential group (everyone signs a confidentiality contract so we can relax and go deep).
How do I sign-up? What does it cost?
For those who pass a preliminary screening *just looking for people who will work together) we will have a free Zoom session Monday Night Huly 27 from 7-8 p.m. to discuss the upcoming group.
So, you start by contacting me, “Mac” (Christopher MacDonald) via email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested – then w can talk via email or via phone depending on what you are comfortable with (or even SKYPE or Zoom).
The coast is $50 a month ($100 die eight sessions) and is offered with openness to sliding scale according to need in these difficult times. So if you are in a financial crisis you are not automatically excluded. I am more concerned with candidates who will do the work and will fit well as a team.
Determinations are never made based on gender, sexual orientation, race, age-bias or political affiliation. We do want gracious truth-tellers/seekers who are respectful of other people’s boundaries and I reserve the right to ask anyone to exit the group, either for the evening, or for good if they cannot be respectful of other members and stay positive and on-track.
But we have found these groups to be fun, deep, revealing, comforting and inspiring in the past. Email me today if you are interested.
